Every day our clients tell us how the Beller Method has positively impacted their lives. Here are some of their stories:
"I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February of 2006. Until that moment, life was a frantic rush of work, touring, events, and social activities. I was happily plugging along, only mildly conscious of my health. I had always been an avid sports lover and had been athletic, working out everyday by running or riding my bike, so it would never have occurred to me that I might be sick, let alone have cancer. I had hardly even ever had a cold.
My wonderful oncologist, Philamena MacAndrews, recommended that with my treatment of radiation that perhaps I incorporate a nutrition regime that would boost my immune system. She suggested I meet with Rachel Beller.
I can safely say that Rachel has changed the way I look at my body and what I put in it. After numerous meetings, she has educated me as to how to eat "defensively." The idea that food can help in protecting the body from sickness or disease was a new concept for me. Her knowledge of what foods and spices are important in the different areas of promoting wellness has been an integral part of how I have changed the way I look at what I put into my body.
After meeting with Rachel and continuing to learn from her the newest information on nutrition, I have turned all my friends onto her."
"Since first meeting Rachel, I have been so impressed with her that I have since referred several of my closest friends and family members to seek her counseling. She has attained a level of excellence in her profession that I have never seen matched. She manages to inspire people to embrace a healthy and preventative lifestyle.
Rachel has been so instrumental in helping others adopt a more healthy and preventative lifestyle but more importantly, for myself as well. Every news channel, every magazine, every newspaper is riddled with ads for new diets, new foods, new "healthy" alternatives. Rachel has the experience and knowledge to separate the fact from fiction. She provides an honest, straightforward and simple approach to nutritional counseling that I know I can trust for me and my whole family.
Thank you Rachel, for really making a positive difference in my life."
"DIETS DON'T WORK - NUTRITIOUS HABITS DO! I'm sure I've lost more than a ton in my lifetime and have tried every diet on the fad circuit, have all the books, and have most of the T-shirts - but outgrew them all! I can attest to the fact few are sustainable, and none make for an easy life-style change. Nutrition counts - Rachel Beller has an incredibly simplistic approach to eating: only have nutritious food in your home - you can't help but lose weight and maintain a healthy body. And her preparation techniques make eating healthy food tasty - usually a mutually exclusive proposition. I've lost just less than 40 pounds in 6 weeks. The lady is amazing!"

"Rachel has singularly brought my practice to a new level of excellence. She is unquestionably an absolutely OUTSTANDING nutritionist and is the only person, as far as I know, who specializes in nutritional oncology. She has the ability to counsel my patients despite their complex and demanding medical histories and provide useful and rewarding advice that works for the patients, their families, as well as for me and my medical care plan.
Rachel Beller is extremely knowledgeable in the realm of nutrition as it relates to all stages of cancer therapy, including prevention. So much so, that I try to send her as many patients as possible, knowing full well her counseling and advice will benefit my patients to a very high degree. She is caring, compassionate, helpful, and always a pleasure to work with. I am so lucky to have her as part of my health care team. My patients are even luckier, because they directly benefit from her prodigious knowledge base and her unparalleled professionalism."

"I had the distinct pleasure of working with Rachel Beller for approximately 10 years at the John Wayne Cancer Institute. First and foremost, she always provided the highest quality information for me and my patients. In addition, she functioned in several capacities, providing nutritional oncology support for my patients and for our organization, as well as developing the marketing, fundraising, community outreach, and research components of the nutritional oncology center. Her professional manner was exemplary, as was her ability to work with physicians, staff, donors, and community leaders. My family and I have personally benefited from Rachel's expertise and I believe she is second to none and I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough. I will continue to use her services and I would recommend Rachel to anybody, without reservation!"

"Rachel Beller has changed my life! I am a 46-year old breast cancer survivor.
I had a partial mastectomy/lumpectomy followed by 7 weeks of radiation. From the onset, I was advised that good nutrition can have an enormous impact in the prevention of, and recovery from cancer. Sheryl Crow recommended Rachel Beller, telling me what an incredible teacher and advisor Rachel has proven to be to so many people.
Rachel offers the education, scientific research and wisdom to take control of each and every choice you make when it comes to eating what is right for you. Rachel's "Nutritional Advice for Maintaining Optimum Health" has become a weekly reading guide to help me stay on track.
As an event producer, one of the challenges of living healthy is being able to eat healthy under any situation; our lives don't always allow us to eat at home and prepare each meal ourselves. Rachel has guided me through my favorite restaurant menus and she has been able to show me how to get what I need wherever I may be.
I have seen quite a few nutritionists before, but NO ONE has ever had such an impact on my life or given me as much faith in my future as Rachel.
Thank you, Rachel, from every part of my heart!"

"Rachel Beller has helped me to change my diet to one that is preventative, promotes good health and fitness, along with the added benefit of the loss of unwanted pounds. I have learned so much from her extensive knowledge of nutrition. She changed my diet and changed my life!!
Thank you Rachel"
"Having worked with Rachel Beller for almost 10 years, I have observed, first hand, the ways in which having accurate and leading-edge nutritional and comprehensive nutrition information, that is based upon evidence-based research, impacts the quality of life, ability to better tolerate treatment, along with sustaining health and, potentially preventing recurrence, makes in the lives of cancer patients who attend her lectures at The Wellness Community-West Los Angeles. Too many cancer patients rely upon misinformation through the Internet and food outlets, populated by erroneous information, untrained clerks, and/or those who are more interested in promoting a product, rather than what is in the best interests of the cancer patient. Rachel brings not only her expertise, but also a level of integrity to this program that to us, and our participants, is vital to their well being."

"I have been referring patients who require nutritional counseling to Rachel for years. She has assisted them with problems ranging from weight loss to heart disease to complex malabsorption syndromes. During that time, I have developed nothing but the highest regard for her expertise and professionalism. Her ability to connect with patients and provide personalized, and, most importantly, effective service is truly outstanding. I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough."

"I met Rachel about seven years ago when my girlfriend, who was fighting breast cancer, raved about Rachel's innovative and medically-astute nutritional advice, especially for those undergoing the rigors of chemo and radiation therapy. At the time, I was caring for my brother who was undergoing chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and we both were deeply impressed by Rachel's skill and wisdom. I gave Rachel's name to my best friend, whose 12-year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer and was also receiving radiation therapy.
As someone who makes a career off the advice of her girlfriends, I just kept sharing Rachel with my girlfriends and they, in turn, shared her with THEIR friends.
Recently, my son was diagnosed with a skin lymphoma and he was given radiation treatment. He was only 19, and I was concerned that perhaps diet was a contributor to his condition. Since we are a family of six, I decided that I wanted the whole family's diet overhauled.
My son is fine and my other kids are slowly learning to read labels and eschew junk food. But it's my husband, Jimmy, and I who are noticing the greatest benefits from our fiber-rich, low fat, and very nutritious diet. Flavor is a big deal to us so I assure you that Rachel knows what tastes good, too!
I know what a success Rachel is when I have girlfriends recommending her to me!"

"Rachel Beller deserves many kudos for the extraordinarily important work she does. In addition to doing cutting-edge research to advance the field of nutrition, she provides wonderful help and support to those who, like me, wish for nutritional support to maximize their health and well-being.
I have been seeing Rachel since the fall of 1999, after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has helped me in two important ways: first, by providing nutritional information based on the latest research; and second, by helping me lose weight and then maintain weight loss. As for weight loss-which I see as not only cosmetic but also healthful -she is a great teacher and coach. She beautifully balances having high standards and being encouraging and motivating even when one has had a bad few weeks. She completely individualizes her response to who you are in particular and works to accommodate your special needs and preferences.
Under Rachel's care I have been able to lose and maintain weight loss at a normal weight level. I consider this amazing, particularly because I am on medication that involves great weight gains in most people. Rachel has been a godsend. So-Rachel Beller is a huge star. I consider her an important part of my healthcare team and couldn't recommend her more highly."

"There are very few people in a lifetime who can profoundly affect your life in such a positive way as Rachel Beller has done for me and my family. As a registered nurse I felt that my education had prepared me well in nutrition but little did I know how much I had to learn. With Rachel's help we have all learned how to lose weight and maintain it in a healthy manner. She has taught all of us how to order food in restaurants that is healthy for us, how to read ingredient labels at the grocery store, and how to transform old family recipes into healthier versions. We no longer think of diets because we have made a lifestyle change that will benefit all of us now and in the future. Rachel provides us with current and vital information that enhances and promotes optimum health. She is one of the most positive, and brilliant professionals I have ever met. I am so grateful to have her in my life. Thank you Rachel."
