Nutritional counseling is the important first step in understanding your reasons for coming to the Beller Nutritional Institute. Whether your goal is weight management, disease prevention and recovery, or just breaking bad habits acquired over a lifetime of fast-food consumption, proper nutritional guidance can help you keep your goals in sight.
We'll start with your medical history to find out if you have risk factors or are currently being treated for any chronic disease. We'll discuss your lifestyle and eating habits as they relate to your work, leisure, home and family life.
Once we develop your full nutritional profile, we'll take a look at the goals you have for yourself and prepare a detailed plan with recommendations to improve your nutrition habits.
As part of your plan, you may want to take advantage of our In-Home Pantry Evaluation or Supermarket Tours. These are great ways to get a head-start on good nutrition as well as help you avoid making mistakes when shopping.
In addition to your plan, you will receive a packet with articles and information about which foods have immune-enhancing, nutrient-rich properties, as well as delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and meals on-the-go.
We know your life is full of activities and responsibilities. Once we've had an initial face-to-face consultation, subsequent meetings may be either in-office or conducted via phone consultation. These have the added benefit of flexibility and frequency. In addition, Beller Nutritional Institute offers out of state conference consultations on a regular basis as well. This represents time well spent to keep you on the right track.
