The Beller Method
The Beller Method The Beller Nutritional Institute represents the integration of nutrition and philosophy in disease prevention and recovery. We look at food as preventative medicine and research has confirmed time and time again that certain foods, combinations of foods, or cooking methods can help us feel better, perform better and prevent illness and disease. Conversely, understanding the power of food can help us avoid the damaging effects of poor nutrition habits. Much more than counting calories, the Beller Method is about empowerment: learning the “whys” of good nutrition and disease pathology so you can “own” the concept of your improved health.

The Beller Method begins with education. Our work in nutrition research for such clients as the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, California, Tower Hematology/Oncology in Beverly Hills, California and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, supports our efforts in teaching you to understand how different foods interact with each other and our bodies to prevent disease and improve overall health. We call it “eating for the immune system” and it is among the most important concepts we teach our clients. 

As part of this education process, we take time to understand your medical history and the goals you want to set for yourself in applying good nutrition to your life. Using your goals and lifestyle, we are then able to develop a structure for making nutritious changes.
